The Miners’ Cafe, located in the Nordegg Museum Building, serves great homemade food in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Bread and croissants are baked fresh daily and the menu includes a variety of homemade sandwiches, soups, omelets and salads.
If you come for lunch, however, make sure you save room for dessert! The cafe is probably best known for its wide selection of amazing homemade desserts, including the best pie in the West Country. Generous portions of the daily selection of mouth-watering fruit and cream pies are served along with scones, fudge, ice cream, bread pudding, cakes and cookies.
Come on in for a quick snack before the mine tour, or stop in for a well-deserved treat after a day of biking or hiking.
Full pies can be ordered a day ahead of time for pick up.
